Final: Part 1

1.      The things I liked about this class was that we had time to read or write our goals and work together, help each other so we can know more about each other and about the subject, also that we had free time.
2.      The things I did not liked about this class was those disrespectful kids, that wouldn’t like to do some easy work, or talk back to the teacher like if they knew them, also that yes we did kind of too much work every  time I had this class.
3.      My recommendations are that is an easy class you can do your work fast and have a little bit of free time or practice your typing tutor, or else do any other class’s work, to always pay attention and behave this is the easiest and best class you could ever have.
4.      Yes, I did my best in this class mostly because it was easy and well because I had time to write or read my goals to achieve them.
5.      Yes, sometimes I do read my Life Planning 100+ Goals because I want to keep in mind that my goals go first and try and do the possible to achieve them.
6.      I think I am committed to be a CTR person because I try and do right things to succeed in life and my real and #1 goal is to always choose the right things and choices.

7.      What I will always remember about this class is the free time we had, the statements that made me think better and to think positive to be CTR and good person and to not give up on my dreams and to accomplish my goals.

“A man without a goal is like
                         A ship without a rudder.”

                                                         Thomas Carlyle

This quote is right a person without a goal is like a ship without a rudder because like the rudder in the ship is use to direct where to go, and the goals are to make a person succeed and think or plan what they have for their future.

                                Beautiful character

If there is beauty in character,
there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.
                            Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
There will be peace in the world.

                                                Chinese Proverb

I’m totally agree with this quote because with a beauty character there is a peace world, some people are nice than we thought some people are different not all of us are the same, we have a beauty character and that is why there peace in the world.
“The Six Pillars of Character”
v  Trustworthiness - Be honest, don’t deceive, cheat, or steal, Be reliable — do what you say you’ll do Have the courage to do the right thing, Build a good reputation, Be loyal stand by your family, friends, and country.
Ø  I trust you; I’ll let you stay in my house for 2 months.

v  Respect - Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule, Be tolerant and accepting of differences, Use good manners, not bad language be considerate of the feelings of others, don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone, Deal peacefully with anger, insults, and disagreements.
Ø  You have to respect your parents, because they are adults.

v  Responsibility - Do what you are supposed to do Plan ahead Persevere: keep on trying!  Always do your best  Use self-control  Be self-disciplined  Think before you act — consider the consequences  Be accountable for your words, actions, and attitudes  Set a good example for others.
Ø  Be responsible of what you do in school.

v  Fairness - Play by the rules  Take turns and share  Be open-minded; listen to others  Don’t take advantage of others  Don’t blame others carelessly  Treat all people fairly.
Ø  Be fair and take turns to play and use the toys.

v  Caring - Be kind, Be compassionate and show you care, Express gratitude, Forgive others Help people in need.
Ø  Take of your sister while being in the park.

v  Citizenship - Do your share to make your school and community better, Cooperate, Get involved in community affairs, Stay informed; vote  Be a good neighbor  Obey laws and rules  Respect authority  Protect the environment  Volunteer.
Ø  We have to share ideas for the rules and laws for our school.

My thoughts about this it’s that this world means a lot that things what we should be how we should act about it and are beautiful words that every person need to have and use are words that describe us as persons and that are so important because that’s education that’s what we should have in our lives.

“I would prefer even to fail with
                 Honor than win by cheating.”

                             Sophocles

This quote is right I’m agree with it because the right thing is not cheating and winning is by fail with honor because at least you are trying to do good by your own that the things are coming out of your head and no someone else’s. That is better than winning by cheating because you did not do it by yourself.
Memorial Day

1.   Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. Over two dozen cities and towns claim to be the birthplace of Memorial Day.

2.   The purpose of Memorial Day is that it started as an event to honor Union soldiers, who had died during the American Civil War. It was inspired by the way people in the Southern states honored their dead. After World War I, it was extended to include all men and women, who died in any war or military action.

3.   Memorial Day is May 25.

4.   A few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day is:

¨       Collections for troops – Host a collection for items deployed troops need. Let                                 customers know via email newsletters and social media – in addition to in-store                             signage – that you’ll be gathering items to send overseas. Check out efforts like                               Operation Gratitude for specifics about how you can help and what our soldiers                                need.

¨       Discounts and free offers – Customize a special offer for those who present military                         ID, such as 20 percent off your product or service. If you can afford it, toss in a little                       something extra with a purchase. Run a restaurant? Sweeten the deal with free                                 dessert at the end of the meal.

¨        Volunteering – Know a local military family in need? Round up employees to                                donate time and materials to help out on a project or effort. For example, says                              Hawkins, if there’s a need for a home renovation project and you run a hardware                            store, you can donate tools or building materials. Own a nursery? Offer plants or                            flowers. If you have a café, consider providing a meal or lightening the cooking load                      with help in the kitchen.

5.

6.   The first state to officially recognize the holiday was New York in 1873. By 1890 it was recognized by all of the northern states. The South refused to acknowledge the day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I (when the holiday changed from honoring just those who died fighting in the Civil War to honoring Americans who died fighting in any war).

7.   What I will do to honor and show respect on Memorial day is volunteering to donate time and materials to help out if they need the help and support all of them on Memorial Day.
